BOM are very pleased to have been chosen by the LB of Croydon to carry out a borough-wide Traffic Order (TO) review and ParkMap implementation project.  The contract, won through the G10 Cloud framework in partnership with our parent company Buchanan Computing (BC), will deliver a full Static and Movement TO Review and implementation of Map-based Schedules.  The move will ensure the full digitisation of all Traffic Orders throughout Croydon. The project will deliver a highly-accurate and fully populated ParkMap 7 system with the location and condition of all relevant restriction’s lines and signs across the borough. It will also see BOM produce a complete set of detailed Maintenance Maps to enable contractors to carry out any necessary remedial work, as well as drafting the requisite new TMO Articles for the introduction of Map-based Schedules. 

BOM is providing this service in collaboration with Buchanan Computing, who will be implementing a new ParkMap 7 cloud-hosted system for LB of Croydon. The ParkMap system will enable Croydon to keep a full digital record of their TMOs and will significantly increase the ease and efficiency of all future Traffic Order management tasks and processes.

Started in January 2019, the full on-street survey of Static and Movement Order restrictions throughout Croydon, is being undertaken by our team of highly experienced surveyors, mapping the relevant signs and lines directly into ParkMap. LB of Croydon will be joining many other London Boroughs and other Authorities nationwide, which BOM have helped implement Map-based Traffic Orders. The advantages of Map Schedules are enormous for both the council and crucially, the public. We are very pleased that Croydon jointly commissioned BC and BOM for this important project and will be benefitting from our leading expertise and experience in this area to deliver the project on their behalf.
