About us

Buchanan Order Management is a successful Traffic Order mapping and surveying consultancy. We specialise in providing Traffic Order consultancy and data input services to highway authorities throughout the UK. These services include computer mapping of both static and movement Traffic Orders, as well as on-street surveying of Traffic Orders to check for accuracy, condition and compliance with the Regulations. We are a leading UK consultancy for the introduction of map-based Traffic Orders for both static and movement Traffic Orders.

Our parent company, Buchanan Computing, is the foremost supplier to UK highway authorities of computer mapping (GIS) and software for the design and management of Traffic Orders and signs.

Origins

The director began providing consultancy services in 1994 to London authorities introducing Decriminalised Parking Enforcement. From there he began offering consultancy services to authorities throughout the UK. The current team formed in 2001 as part of the Colin Buchanan transport consultancy, providing the origin of our company name. Buchanan Order Management was established in 2011 as the consultancy operation of our parent company,  Buchanan Computing.
