BOM continues to maintain TfL's Digital Speed Limit Map
Transport for London commission BOM to continue to maintain the Digital Speed Limit Map.
This map contains data on all speed limits within the Greater London area.
BOM underake the identification of changes, as advertised by the London Gazette, the verification of the new speed limit signs, and the correspondence with Borough Engineers on any queries that arise.
The GIS map of speed limits helps TfL to identify changes to limits across the capital over time.
It also provides speed limit data used within the speed controlled vehicles currently being piloted by TfL to help improve road safety on London’s roads.
