Case study

Kent County Council full on street survey for all traffic orders

Buchanan Order Management (BOM) was commissioned in 2021 to carry out static and moving surveys for several Kent County Council districts.

This large-scale project includes all identified districts to be surveyed by our specialist team and to plot all static (parking), moving and speed limit orders.

BOM will be providing finalised valid survey data that can be uploaded into the ParkMap system and produce reliable and accurate map- based schedules for all three elements included in the scope of the project.

We will also be drafting three consolidation orders for each district, to cover moving, static and speed orders across each independent area.

This project is still ongoing in 2023 and the collaboration between Kent and BOM has resulted in an efficient process with project completion making good progress, during these latter stages.
